Doing More with HTML5

If you haven't noticed, I haven't been do much blogging lately. Nor have I been tweeting, facebooking or any other social experiment. I've been hard at work, finishing up projects, starting new ones and opening a whole new line of business.

One of the areas of development that I've been concentrating on, is HTML5. I'm no expert yet, but the specification looks very promising. I'm particularly interested in the video and audio aspects, and how it will make these types of websites richer. Who isn't using audio and video right?

In the meantime I'll be standing up another site that I'll be using specifically for HTML5 things. I don't expect it to be "pretty", but I do expect it to be useful. Not only will I use the site for HTML5, but I'll be testing my jQuery chops on it as well. With this new spec there are so many great opportunities that we haven't had before. At least I can start eliminating some plug-ins, and viewing my webpages on more devices.

So here is to more blogging and ending the last quarter of the year on a positive note of HTML5. Any questions or comments, please let me know.
