Media Luv Me
I said in my last post that I wanted to do more with the projects I had sitting on the shelf, and one of those projects has to do with Ruby on Rails (RoR). Another aspect that I wanted to get more familiar with while on break, is using HTML 5 more effectively. One reason for this, is the growing desire for those surfing the web to consume video content.
As web surfers, we find ourselves faced with online video all the time. As bandwidth grows, so will the video format. One thing that I know HTML 5 is suppose to do really well, is help us handle video.
However, Video isn't the only thing I'd like to test out in HTML 5, I'd also like to learn more about ....
other types of media as well. The new spec can do a lot of cool things, in addition to video, audio and some new css features are also available. In order to test out these new features, I've created a website at Medialuv.me so show off what I've learned.
I will keep this blog up to date with the progress, but feel free to check out that site as I mess with this new technology and produce something very media centric. As with everything else that I produce, I would love your feedback on things to tell me what you think or if you feel I'm headed in the wrong direction.
