Day 1 Look of a Nut

I thought today we would start off by looking at the current site and how it looks. I had to change the background of the site because I couldn't stand looking at the plain white any longer.

This is what we have on day one. I'm one of those types of people that has to mock something up before I can fully jump right into it. Meaning, that I will put together a dummy webpage by hand before I start to code the functionality into it. With that said, I also like to design from top to bottom. This allows me to concentrate on the parts of the site that a visitor might see first.

One thing that we know we are going to need is a header. Headers are massively important, and really need to convey what the brand is all about. So I'm going to add that first and work with the links and navigation that we might want.
